Celebration of our Golden Wedding Anniversary

What better place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary than a place we have been to numerous times, especially with the kids in the 80s and 90s. We stayed in a hotel just outside the park in El Portal, so it was just a quick drive along the River Merced to get into the valley. Lovely sunny skies and comfortable temperatures, what more could you ask for? As you will see from the photos, there was a lot of water in the valley, and we were almost afraid it would be closed because of flooding!
